The Doula offers educational physical and emotional support before, during and shortly after birth. They assist with comfort measures, breathing, and relaxation. Successful Teens/Effective Parents (STEPs) provides specialized services to pregnant and parenting youth ages 18 to 21. Counseling and case management are focused on their specific needs. Parenting and childcare-related support and training help them learn skills to parent effectively. They live in their own apartments, with gradually declining rent assistance as their confidence and financial independence grow. We are the only agency in our service area providing residential services to pregnant and parenting youth.

The Dad's Engagement Coordinator empowers young dads to be the best version of themselves and build connections with their families. Pat can visit with participants weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. Visits last around an hour and topics include: child development, parenting skills, goal setting, budgeting, healthy relationships and coping skills. Pat can assist with finding community resources and with tasks such as finding a job and finding housing.
