Participating individuals are connected with community resources that work on behalf of the immigrant population. MAFS staff assists clients in accessing public benefits available to fit their individual needs. Staff help fill-out applications for these services and escort clients to the appropriate public benefit offices to submit the application and serve as their interpreter. Staff also translate official forms to facilitate the process of applying for benefits. Our staff acts as liaisons between the client and public officials to help our community members get the help and support they require.

Must live in DuPage County. Team members help apply for medical debt relief and navigate medical assistance programs. Available to people with and without insurance. All medical bills are eligible for review including hospitals, ambulance, and specialty care. We do not pay bills. All immigration statuses welcome.
