Pennsylvania, as the fifth-largest U.S. state by population, has an extensive highway system to connect its more than 2,500 municipalities. Pennsylvania boasts 545 primary numbered routes consisting of 23 Interstate Highways (plus 2 Business Loops), 24 U.S. Highways (and 34 business, alternate, and truck routes), and 462 state highways (with numerous truck routes). In addition to these are secondary and quadrant routes with numbers over 1000, which are signed with little white square signs. There are thousands of numbered highways in this system (and numbers can repeat), so many that I don't exactly wish to count all of them. However, I will note those which I have traveled.
