Canyon Grove is a collaboration project with myself (hotel) and Gaven McGhee (attraction). It is a part of a larger themed park designed by 10 other graduate students. Canyon Grove focuses on Eco-Tourism and historical precedence. Each portion of the hotel is based on real desert construction. We created an story for Canyon Grove that is rooted in history, and provides reason for each of the design choices we made, both in the hotel and attraction. The primary method of presentation for this studio was through video and fly-through. Below is a link to the full video fly-through we created.
