Cal Tech Recreation Center

This design focuses on breaking down the barrier between athletic fields at Cal Tech, as well as encouraging students to get involved in athletics. To break down the barrier between fields, a large deck terrace provides a view into both fields, as well as providing a shady location for families to be between events. To encourage engagement with athletics, Areas of Transparency are created to give opportunity for new athletes to see into spaces and feel comfortable beginning their journey.
