Special Activity - 2023

1. Make slime by combining a bottle of glue, one tablespoon of baking soda, and two tablespoons of contact solution in a bowl.

2. Mix the contents of the bowl until it forms an even mixture that slightly sticks to the hands.

3. Get some green food coloring and add a few drops to the slime. Mix in the food coloring until the entire mixture is evenly green.

4. Now’s the fun part - adding in little things! Find or buy something like little gold coins, rainbow beads, or anything else that relates to St. Patrick’s Day and mix them in. Then, you’re done!

Instructions:

1. Collect a few rocks and get out googly eyes and paint.

2. Wash of the rocks to make sure they’re clean.

3. Stick on as many googly eyes as you want.

4. Paint on other features like a mouth or hair.

5. Repeat steps 2-4 to expand your family of rocks!

1. Get some seeds, soil, water, and a pot.

2. Fill the pot about ¾ with soil, and then place your seeds in. Cover the seeds with more soil so that it almost reaches the top of the pot.

3. Water the seed/soil a little and place the pot in the sun.

4. Water your plant at a frequency that is recommended for it (it can vary from twice a day to once a week).

5. Watch as your plant grows throughout a few days or weeks!

1. Get a plastic bag, tape, and some paper towels. You’ll also need seeds, of course. (We recommend these seeds).

2. For about 10 hours, soak 4-5 of your beans in water (NOT in the bag). Then, take them out of the water.

   1. It’s best to do this overnight.

3. Wet a paper towel entirely and fold in enough so that it smoothly fits into the bag.

4. Place your seeds on one side of the paper towel in the bag. 

5. Close the bag and hang it on a window by taping it. Make sure you can see the seeds in the bag.

6. Within a week, your plants will start to grow. Once they appear to reach the top of the bag, you can pot them!

This is a quick but fun activity to make a new friend!

1. Look at the last digit of your phone number. 

2. Add or subtract 1 from it.

3. Then, text the new phone number you just found.

   1. For example, if our phone number is XXX-XXX-XXX4, we are texting XXX-XXX-XXX3 or XXX-XXX-XXX5.

4. Try to have a conversation and maybe even make a new friend!

   1. Of course, if the person you have texted doesn’t want to stay in touch, then stop texting them. Super Stuff is not responsible for any problems that occur when texting your phone number neighbor.

1. Get an empty toilet paper roll and a balloon.

2. Blow up the balloon, and then pop it (it seems pointless now, but it’s useful!)

3. Cut off the bottom portion of the balloon, about 2 inches from the bottom.

4. Put the balloon bottom on the toilet paper roll, and tape or glue it so that it doesn’t fall off.

5. Put confetti in the roll so that it falls to the balloon part.

6. Pull back on the balloon, let go, and watch as confetti flies everywhere!

1. Draw or print out a photo of yourself (just your head/neck).

2. Come up with at least 25 words to describe you.

3. If you’re drawing yourself, skip this step. Get a new sheet of paper and trace over the photo of yourself.

4. Around the outline of your head and facial features, write the words that describe you.

5. Erase the pencil outline of yourself, so that you just have words. Then, you’re done.
