Find an assortment of flowers outside. They should have different shapes, sizes, and colors.
Get a book with plain white pages (like a sketchbook).
Open the book about ¾ of the way until the end. Place the flowers on the right side of the two pages, so that they are spread out.
Put a piece of parchment/wax paper over the flowers so that the imprints only go on the right of the two pages.
Close the book so that the front cover faces up.
Wait a few minutes and open the book to the page where the flowers are. If you remove the flowers, imprints should show.
*If the imprints do not show, you might want to put more weight on the top of the book.
*An alternative way to do this is to coat the flowers in paint before placing them in the book, and then put the paint side of the flower down in the book.
Find your mom’s favorite plant and get its seeds from the store.
Plant those seeds, as well as seeds from your favorite plant, in the same pot.
Watch as your seeds sprout into plants and grow, symbolizing the growth of you and your mom or loved one.
Completely wet a shirt. Then, put it in a freezer until the shirt is almost rock solid (2-3 hours).
Have one shirt for every person playing.
Make sure someone has a stopwatch along the sideline.
When the person with the stopwatch shouts go, the players will have to take their shirt and try to put it on.
The first person to put on their shirt wins.
Note: you need one pumpkin for every person playing. Make sure the pumpkins are about the same size.
Cut the top off of all the pumpkins to make them easy to reach into.
On the count of 3, start a timer for 5 minutes (you can adjust the time if need be).
Each player needs to reach into their pumpkins and get out as many seeds as they can before time is up.
The payer with the most seeds wins.
