Music - 2022

Guitar:​

1. Get an empty rectangular tissue box. Also get some rubber bands. Put the rubber bands and even length apart stretching over the width of the tissue box.

2. Get an empty paper towel roll and hot glue. Hot glue the paper towel roll onto one end of the tissue box.

Drums/Bongos

Just get an empty container and flip it over. Use your hands as the sticks.

*Get two containers for bongos.

Shakers:​

1.Get an empty Easter egg. Put some rice, rocks, or beads in it. Then close the egg.

2. Get two plastic spoons and glue. Glue the plastic spoons on either sides of the egg.

Instructions:

1. Click here for the list of 2022 nominees. Pick your favorite song.

2. Find the lyrics for that song and familiarize yourself with the tune.

3. Start writing your parody. Come up with a theme that your parody will be about.

4. Make sure your lyrics make sense, and when you’re done, sing your song to yourself so you know it sounds good.

5. Record, perform, and/or share your parody and watch the GRAMMYs® April 3 @ 8:00 pm EST.

Instructions:

1. Test out things on your computer to see what sounds they make. Record these sounds.

2. Open up a new project in an audio editor of your choice. Put in the computer sounds.

3. Arrange them how you want to make a cool song or beat.

Instructions:

1. Record sounds like birds chirping, cars driving, or other sounds you hear often.

2. Put them into a music editor like GarageBand, and order them how you want.

3. Add some beats to the background and listen to your song.

Instructions:

1. Record sounds like screams, someone saying "boo", doors creaking, evil laughter, and other sounds relating to Halloween.

2. Put all of the sounds together in an audio editing program like GarageBand.

3. Reorder and move around the sounds to create a spooky song.

Tip: you can add background beats to make your song flow more.

Instructions:

1. Pick at least 5 of your favorite Christmas songs. Record them.

2. Using an audio editor program like GarageBand, put all of the songs into a project.

3. Trim, cut, and move around parts of different songs to make your own Christmas Mix.
