Think about what you want your poem to be about.
What elements of poetry do you want in your poem/song? There is rhyme, rhythm, simile, metaphor, and many more!
Now, you write! To write the first stanza, start broadly talking about your topic. Use lines, not sentences.
In the second stanza, acknowledge your topic more. Then you can write.
In the third stanza, really emphasize your topic. Create strong feeling towards your topic.
Now, repeat the last stanza.
It's time for the music! You can use a music maker (like Garage Band or Chrome Music Lab) to make the music for the song. The music could also just be a tune you hum to yourself.
Now, you're done!

Try to find some other beats by listening to music or playing an instrument.
We're going to start with clapping. So, clap your hands. Clap them in any rhythm. You can do clap-clap, clap-pause-clap, or anything else that you come up with.
Now, let's add some foot taps. Just like with the claps, you can do tap-tap, tap-pause-tap, or anything else that you come up with. Then, add the tapping and clapping together.
Keep adding new things to your beat, to make it unique. Maybe, you can create a song off of the beat.
