We are a team of researchers developing new methods to understand the health of our ecosystems. We do this by studying pollinators, like bees, and how they are affected by human activities. The well-being of these tiny creatures can tell us a lot about the overall health of the environment and its ability to provide essential services that we all depend on.
Our mission is to create innovative diagnostic tools that link human pressure on the environment to the health of pollinators. Join us as we explore this vital connection.
The ACTIONS project is funded by the CNR's Department of Earth System Science and Environmental Technologies (DSSTTA) under the "Scientific Transdisciplinary Unexplored Paths for Innovative Research on Environment (STUPIRE)" call.
CNR-ISAFOM (Institute for Agricultural and Forestry Systems in the Mediterranean): Leading project coordination and environmental data integration.
CNR-IRPI (Research Institute for Geo-Hydrological Protection): Leading environmental characterization and GIS analysis.
CNR-IPSP (Institute for Sustainable Plant Protection): Leading the evaluation of pollinator health and ecosystem services.
CNR-ISPAAM (Institute for Animal Production System in Mediterranean Environment): Leading the development of genomic biomarkers.
