The 8th Conference on “Auctions, Competition, Regulation, and Public Policy” will take place at Maastricht University on June 18–19, 2026.
The conference is jointly organized by Lancaster University, Maastricht University, and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
The conference brings together economists to present and discuss research in industrial organization, environmental and energy economics, art finance and creative markets, regulation, and public policy, with a particular focus on auction design, market competition, regulatory frameworks, and policy implications.
Authors of accepted papers will be provided with accommodation in Maastricht for the nights of June 17–19, 2026.
Paper submissions should be sent to d.desilva@lancaster.ac.uk by March 15, 2026, with the subject line “Auctions, Competition, Regulation, and Public Policy.”
