Older than his sister Allison by mere minutes, Chase was the only son of Chris and Victoria Argent. Unlike his twin however, he was let into the family secret fairly early on by his grandfather for his training to begin. After all the men was raised to be soldiers, the women their leaders. So while Allison began a well rounded training regime to further her leadership skills, Chase was training with his grandfather to be a good little soldier.

It was never something that bothered him though, Allison was one of his favourite people and he loved seeing her excel at anything their parents put in her way.

When his parents and Allison moved back to Beacon Hills, Chase stayed in France with his grandfather and aunts, uncles and cousins. He wouldn't come to Beacon Hills until later, after his father and Isaac joined him in France, and he returned with his dad.
