AMBERLE OF CRETEA
Amberle was born to two of Drakon's seraphims not long after the war that brought Miryam and Drakon out of hiding. Amberle's father died in the second war to protect his mate and then unborn child; then when Amberle was born there was complications. Amberle was breech, a rarity among the fae and because of this, her birth mother lost too much blood during the birth and deteriorated not long after she held Amberle long enough to give her the name that her birth father had always wanted to name a little girl of his.
Because of how much her birth parents had done for their people, Miryam and Drakon adopted the newborn, adding to their brood of children. Amberle grew up loved, and cared for. A totally daddy's girl with Drakon, but with a deep respect and love for her mother Miryam. Her parents never let her forget where she came from, the strength of her birth parents and how much they would have loved her as they did.
The day she found her wings was the start of so much mischief. An overly brave child, she would often climb things just to jump off them, giving Miryam a heartattack most of the time. But after some bumps and bruises which healed soon enough, she managed to learn to fly. Amberle isn't the fastest flyer, but she is nimble and able to rely on mor delicate movements.
Growing up on Cretea, Amberle has lived a more sheltered life. She's never know chaos or strife. Has never seen war or grown with any prejudice around her, so during her first visits to Prythian, she was overwhelmed with some of the things she seen.
As a part of the ongoing relations between Miryam and Drakon, Amberle was sent to Velaris for her schooling where she became best friends with Feyre and Rhysand's eldest Nyx. They eventually started dating, though they both knew if the mating bond didn't snap into place they'd be at risk of finding their mates someday and having to leave one another.
Amberle had always hoped Nyx would be her mate, because she did love him. However, it wasn't meant to be, and in the end they were better friends than together.
