ALISSA KINGSLEIGH
The daughter of the Wonderland saviour Alice and the step-daughter of The Mad Hatter, Alissa is the youngest of Alice’s twins; and the only one of the twins to carry magic in her blood. Her biological father died in during the creation of the isle, rounding up the villain before the twins were even born; her mom then reconnected with Tarrant when the twins were only a few months old and ended up remarrying, so the twins grew up in Wonderland with their family.
When Alissa was seven she came down with an unknown illness after spending the day out on the marshland of Wonderland with Alistair and Hannah. Alice and Tarrant tried everything, every type of magic from across the realms to heal their daughter. Every potion, every spell, every medicine. Exhausting all science and magic outside of Wonderland. Finally Absolem the Blue Caterpillar suggested an ancient Wonderland magic. The potion worked, but it left it’s mark on Alissa as a magic that she even now can’t control.
Alissa works in her family’s cafe in Auradon with her twin Alistair and stepsister Hannah, while she studies to be a healer at Auradon University. She wants to be a Wonderland Healer one day so that no one needs to go through being unnaturally sick like she had been. So she spends a lot of her time at the cafe, working between the kitchens and waitressing; and when not working, she’s usually in a booth at the back studying for school.
Her stepfather gives her and her siblings a riddle every week, but the riddles are mainly for Hannah; but Alissa enjoys the riddles, and dedicated soem of her time every week to sitting down and going over the riddles. Sometimes being the sounding board for her siblings answers - even if Alistair doesn’t listen when she tells him he was wrong.
