ACOL is an open conference that accepts submissions in all areas of linguistics. This year’s conference will be hosted at the University of Calgary on Saturday, the 2nd of November, 2024. We especially encourage undergraduate and graduate students as well as postdocs and other emerging scholars to submit abstracts to this conference. Abstracts reporting on work in progress or reporting on pilot studies are also welcomed.
To submit an abstract to present at this year's ACOL, please follow the guidelines below.
Abstracts should clearly denote:
- Title
- Author(s)
- Affiliation(s)
Abstracts are restricted to 250 words in length not including references. An additional page may be used for graphs/figures if necessary. A PDF of your abstract should be sent to albertaconferenceonlinguistics@gmail.com no later than 23:59(MST) on October 13, 2024.
Authors may submit at most one single authored abstract and one co-authored abstract. Talks will be scheduled for 15 min with an additional 5 min for discussion.
