About ACE-PAVE Symposium
This is an one day event of talks and discussion. It is also part of the activities organized by our newly established ACE-PAVE center, a Yale/Columbia/CUNY/EPFL/Certik center supported by the Algorand Foundation through their Algorand-Centers-of-Excellence Program.
ACE-PAVE (Privacy, Accountability, Verification, and Economics of Blockchain systems) brings an interdisciplinary approach to blockchain deployment, infrastructure, and adoption. Its multifaceted team draws on extensive experience across Computer Science, Economics, and Law, from four institutions in the United States and Europe: Yale, Columbia, CCNY, and EPFL.
From their dedicated physical space at Yale University, the ACE-PAVE focuses on advancing the foundations of blockchain systems and the Algorand ecosystem using cryptography, distributed systems, and formal verification. In addition, the team explores concrete, impactful connections between these aspects of blockchain, economics, and law.
