AlwAI Jobs is committed to providing users with full control over their accounts, including the option to permanently delete their accounts if they wish. This policy outlines the process and implications of account removal for both recruiters and personal profiles.
1. How to request account removal
Users can request to delete their accounts through the following methods:
- In-App Settings: scroll down and select Delete My Account.
- Customer Support Request: Send an email to info@alwai.ai with the subject Account Deletion Request and include your registered email address and account details for verification.
2. Verification process
For security reasons, we require identity verification before processing the request. Depending on your role, we may request additional details such as:
- Personal profiles and independent recruiters: Confirmation via registered email.
- Corporate recruiters: Verification via registered company email or direct contact with the company.
3. Data deletion & retention
Upon account deletion:
- Your profile, matches, messages, and other personal data will be permanently removed from our system.
- We may retain certain data for legal, security, or compliance purposes, in accordance with applicable laws.
4. Processing times
Account deletion requests are typically processed within 7 business days. You will receive a confirmation email once the process is complete.
5. Reinstating a deleted account
Once an account is deleted, it cannot be restored. Users wishing to use our services again must create a new account.
