The institution also develops and implements an effective written policy for the ongoing professional development of instructional personnel that is systematically implemented, monitored, and documented.

The Orientation Program covers the following:

Orientation for Educational Preparation:
First State – Responsibilities of the D.G. of Training Staff Services –
The Directorate conducts an orientation training program for the educational preparedness of new training staff members at the beginning of each training year for a minimum of one week. The program is conducted as part of the preparation process of new training staff members who are newly employed, in accordance with the procedures below.
Upon completing the placement procedures and issuance of a letter of duty assumption at the related place of work, the following shall be completed:

The new training staff members are received and welcomed by the training unit officials and Head of Department. An orientation and introduction to the training unit is given to the new staff members.
The training unit department introduces the new staff members to concepts that will assist the staff members in acclimating to their new workplace, such as:
a) Preparation of a suitable workplace;
b) Introduction to their peers;
c) Provision of appropriate materials and work requirements that promote completion of their duties and higher future performance evaluations;
d) Familiarization with all job-related matters, as well as topics not within the scope of their duties. These include a working knowledge and acquaintance with the activities of other departments.
Department Head’s Training Program Responsibilities:
The department head’s role includes training and administering new training staff, including the following –
a) Reinforce the new training staff members’ professional affiliation with the department;
b) Explain his obligation to perform his duties with diligence and sincerity, based on his selection as department head on scientific and practical grounds;
c) Emphasize to new training staff members that they must:
d) Appoint a skilled, experienced, and hands-on instructor to administer new training staff members, and encourage this instructor to engage in discussions and raise appropriate questions intended to enhance the training program.
The D.G. of Training Staff Services (Training Department) is responsible for implanting the orientation training program. A checklist must be completed verifying the execution of related tasks and duties.

The Corporation provides an educational program designed for each new staff member, whether he has practical industry experience or is a new graduate. This approach is due to TVTC’s functions and purpose, which attracts graduates in engineering technical, and vocational sciences. These graduates are qualified to work in the academic sectors of education and training.
The General Directorate of Training Staff Services conducts orientations focusing on the new training staff members’ educational preparedness for a period of no less than one week. This training is held at the beginning of each new training year, and ensures new staff members are prepared and integrated into their department, position, and duties.

The Corporation dedicates great care in providing training and development to the current and newly appointed training staff. The Corporation is eager to train and develop its personnel through diversified programs, covering all applicable specialized technical, professional, educational, and administrative aspects. This training is conducted with an objective of uplifting its professional and supervisory staff.
Exhibit 1 Item one – (Rules and Regulations governing Secondment for Study and Training), which states:
The TVTC allows the personnel to receive the training and education that it deems important for its developmental needs in each staff member’s area of specialty. It allows staff members to be dedicated to this objective.
The TVTC determines its training and educational needs suited to its developmental plans and determines the appropriate procedures and methods. The TVTC seeks to develop personnel performance and efficiency through training programs and symposiums– including those held abroad. The Corporation provides locations for personnel to gain experience and skill. Trainers of HCT can register for training programs at employee portal.
To these ends, the Corporation provides four main collective programs, locally and abroad:

2. General Training Program;
3. Specialization Training Program;
4. Training program for supervisory leadership.
In addition to local and foreign training, the Corporation provides individual training programs. The Corporation will pay or reimburse expenses related to training and development of its staff members.
