Designated/Assigned (Fe)male at Birth. This is the gender you were labelled with when you popped from the womb. We use these terms to clarify that we are assigned female or male, but may identify otherwise. Replacing the F or M with an I means “intersex” and adding a “C” in front of the D or A means “coercively” which usually means someone who was intersex and medically “corrected” to be considered “normal”.
