Recent advances in machine learning open up new opportunities to build systems that can be helpful to people with disabilities. In this workshop, we will bring together experts from multiple disciplines including speech and language and neurology, people that work closely with users, along with Google researchers, engineers and product managers, to discuss new approaches.
Topics will include recent advances in artificial intelligence, stories from the field on opportunities and challenges, working sessions on gathering new kinds of data and enabling developer and maker communities, and specific project ideas.
