Required: Safety glasses, closed-toed shoes, no loose or dangling items on the person (hair tied back; no necklaces, hoodie strings, etc.), no gloves should be worn.
The disk/belt sander has an indented start button which is also tucked behind the large-stop lever. To start the sander, the stop leveler must be pulled out in order for the start button to be activated. When finish using the sander, the stop button remains locked in place.
The disk/belt sander is mounted on a mobile base which can be moved and locked in place to ensure adequate space to work around. While using the disk sander, only a 6" portion (half the disk on its downwards rotation towards the table) can be used at a time.
