The mission of A Catholic Mother's Conference is for each woman to experience renewal in her vocation through inspiring talks, fellowship, prayer, Benediction, and the sacrifice of the Holy Mass. Our hope is that this one-day event will leave each mother feeling refreshed while she grows closer to Our Lord alongside other Catholic mothers. This is the first year for this conference, however the mission and desire to serve mothers began long before now.

We looked forward to sharing this beautiful day with you!

Please note:

... Lap infants are welcome (childcare is not available).

... A nursing station with comfortable seating will be provided.

Keynote Speaker: Kate Wicker

Kate Wicker is a Catholic wife, mom of five, popular speaker, and the author of Getting Past Perfect: How to Find Joy and Grace in the Messiness of Motherhood (a 2018 Catholic Press Association award winner) and Weightless: Making Peace with Your Body. Kate has her journalism degree and has been freelance writing for over a decade.

Prior to focusing on her most important works in progress - her five children - Kate dropped out of law school to support her husband through his studies and joined the editorial staff of a parenting publication. These days, when she’s not playing the role of Uber driver, cook, and dispute resolution expert (who knew law school would come in handy in the trenches of motherhood?),

Kate speaks around the country and is a regular contributor to Catholic Digest, Take Up & Read devotional journals, Relevant Radio’s Morning Air Show, and Athens Catholic Radio. She has also been a guest on many other television, radio, and podcast programs, including Catholic TV’s “The Gist,” EWTN’s “At Home with Jim & Joy,” the Jennifer Fulwiler Show, the Busted Halo Show, and Huffington Post Live. She has written for numerous regional and national media, including Atlanta Parent, Catholic Exchange, CatholicMom.com, Catholic News Agency, Children’s Ministry Magazine, Crisis Magazine, Family Fun, Fathers For Good, Pregnancy, Pittsburgh Parent, WhattoExpect.com, and Woman’s Day.

In addition, Kate appeared in Danielle Bean’s Momnipotent DVD series and the Catholic Conference 4 Women Relationships and Motherhood Matters online presentations, which are used in parishes nationwide. To learn more, please visit KateWicker.com.
