If you want a dedicated, high-speed charging solution specifically engineered for your new wireless earbuds and premium headphones, choose Abysssea Airpods Pro 2nd/3rd; if you need a versatile bridge to keep listening to music while simultaneously powering up your smartphone, choose QianLink USB C.
These two products solve completely different problems for the modern tech user. One is a specialized power tool designed to safely and quickly replenish your audio gear, while the other is a connectivity hub that restores functionality to phones lacking traditional headphone jacks. I have analyzed the specifications of both to help you decide which one belongs in your daily carry, especially if you are looking for best sweat resistant sleep headphones for gym setups or simply trying to manage cables on the go. The choice isn't about which is "better" overall, but rather which specific utility you require right now.
• Abysssea Airpods Pro 2nd/3rd: Delivers fast, safe 20W charging with MFi-certified safety features and a durable woven design; its only limitation is that it is strictly a charger and cannot play audio itself.
• QianLink USB C: Offers a unique 2-in-1 split allowing simultaneous 60W charging and 3.5mm audio playback via a built-in DAC chip; however, it does not support data transfer and requires a compatible wall adapter for peak speeds.
• Best for: Abysssea is for users who own multiple generations of Apple audio gear and prioritize cable longevity and charging speed. QianLink is for Android and iPhone users who refuse to sacrifice wired audio quality while their phone battery drains.
The Abysssea Airpods Pro 2nd/3rd is not just another generic cable; it is a targeted accessory built for the ecosystem of Apple's latest audio hardware. If you own AirPods Pro 2nd generation, the newly released 3rd generation (2025), AirPods 4, or even the AirPods Max 2, this is the charging cord that matches your device needs automatically. The core value here lies in the internal engineering. It utilizes an Apple MFi Certified Chip, which ensures that the current output remains safe and effective. This isn't just marketing fluff; for someone who leaves their earbuds charging overnight, knowing the cable has multi-function protection technology means your expensive hardware is less likely to suffer from power surges or overheating.
In terms of build quality, this product stands out because of its material choices. The outer material is copper, which offers superior conductivity compared to cheaper alternatives, and the cable itself is woven. This woven construction suggests a higher resistance to fraying and tangling, a common pain point with standard charging cords. With a maximum current capacity of 3 Amps and a wattage of 20 watts, it supports fast charging capabilities that can get your buds back to full power quickly. Whether you are using an iPhone 17, 16, or 15 series, the data transfer rate of 480 megabits per second indicates robust performance standards, ensuring that the connection between the charger and your device is stable.

You should buy this if you are tired of slow charging times or worried about damaging your premium earbuds with cheap third-party chargers. It is particularly relevant if you are looking for rechargeable open ear headphones for gym environments where you might leave your case plugged into a wall or a portable battery pack. However, you should skip this product if you are hoping to use a single cable to charge both your phone and your headphones simultaneously, or if you need to transfer files between devices, as this is purely a power delivery solution. It is a specialized tool for maintaining your audio gear, nothing more, nothing less.
The QianLink USB C adapter addresses a very specific frustration that many smartphone users face: the disappearance of the 3.5mm headphone jack. This device splits your single USB-C port into two distinct functions: a PD-compatible USB-C port for charging and a 3.5mm audio jack for wired headphones. This is a game-changer for anyone who wants to listen to music, take calls, or watch videos without draining their battery faster than they can charge it. The standout feature here is the 60W Power Delivery (PD) capability. While the Abysssea charger tops out at 20W, this adapter allows your phone to draw significantly more power, provided you pair it with a compatible PD wall charger.
Beyond just passing electricity, the QianLink unit includes an advanced intelligent DAC (Digital-to-Analog Converter) audio chip. This is crucial for audiophiles or casual listeners who notice static or noise when using cheap adapters. The specs promise stable, high-quality audio transmission with no current noise to hurt your ears. This makes it an excellent candidate for those seeking the best comfortable wireless headset for gym scenarios, although technically it connects wired headphones. You can plug in any CTIA or OMTP compatible headphones and enjoy HIFI audio playing while your phone charges. It is incredibly slim and ultra-portable, making it easy to toss into a pocket or bag without adding bulk.
This product is ideal for owners of Samsung Galaxy S25/S24/S23/S22 series, Google Pixel 8/9, iPad Air4, or newer iPhones like the 17 and 16 series. It brings versatility to devices that otherwise force you to choose between listening and charging. However, there is a trade-off: it does not support data transfer. You cannot use this cable to move photos or files from your phone to a computer; it is strictly for audio and power. Additionally, while it works with most Type-C phones, it is noted that it is not compatible with all OnePlus models. If you need a simple, plug-and-play solution to extend the life of your wired headphones while keeping your phone topped up, this is the device you need.
• Best for battery life during workouts → QianLink USB C: Its 60W PD charging allows your phone to stay powered while you stream audio, whereas the Abysssea is limited to 20W and only charges earbuds.
• Best for safety and longevity of Apple audio gear → Abysssea Airpods Pro 2nd/3rd: The MFi certification and woven copper design offer superior protection for your specific earbuds compared to a generic adapter.
• Best for wired audio enthusiasts → QianLink USB C: Only this option provides the 3.5mm jack needed to use traditional headphones, offering HIFI audio via the DAC chip.
• Best for multi-device compatibility → QianLink USB C: Works across a vast range of Android brands (Samsung, Google, LG, Sony) and newer iPhones, whereas Abysssea is locked to Apple's ecosystem.
• Best for durability against wear and tear → Abysssea Airpods Pro 2nd/3rd: The woven cable construction is explicitly designed to resist the friction and tangles common in active lifestyles.
• Best for simultaneous audio and power → QianLink USB C: You can listen and charge at the same time; the Abysssea charger only powers the device.
• Best for fast data transfer → Neither: The Abysssea supports data rates, but the QianLink explicitly states it does not support data transfer at all.
• Best for travel simplicity → QianLink USB C: Its ultra-slim profile and dual-function nature reduce the number of dongles you need to carry.
In my opinion, if you are primarily concerned with keeping your audio equipment safe and charged efficiently, the Abysssea Airpods Pro 2nd/3rd is the superior investment. The peace of mind provided by the MFi certified chip and the rugged woven cable makes it the clear winner for protecting your expensive AirPods. However, if your main goal is to extend your listening session without worrying about your phone dying, the QianLink USB C is the undeniable champion. I would personally buy the QianLink adapter for my daily commute and gym sessions because the ability to charge my phone while using my favorite wired headphones eliminates the anxiety of a dead battery. Both serve distinct purposes, so your final decision depends entirely on whether you need a dedicated charger or a universal audio bridge.
No, the Abysssea Airpods Pro 2nd/3rd is specifically designed for Apple devices including AirPods Pro 2nd Gen, 3rd Gen, AirPods 4, and AirPods Max 2. It will not fit or function correctly with other brands of headphones.
No, the QianLink USB C adapter explicitly does not support data transfer. It is designed solely for splitting the port to allow for audio playback and power delivery simultaneously.
It is compatible with most major brands like Samsung Galaxy S25 through S20, Google Pixel, and others, but the manufacturer notes that it is not compatible with all models of OnePlus. Always check your specific model before purchasing.
According to the product specifications, the cable uses multi-function protection technology and an MFi certified chip to ensure safe current output, making it safe enough to leave charging overnight.
