Update - 23 October 2026
This update adds the following information. Where it differs from the sections below, this update applies.
Who is responsible: the data controller is Mateo Luciano, an individual developer based in Vietnam (publishing as studio2004). Contact: mateoluciano3104@gmail.com.
Feedback emails (correction to section 3): when you use "Report a bug / Feedback", the prepared email also includes your device maker and model, Android version, the Game's version and build number, and game progress details (for example floor, number of rooms, play time and number of sessions). You can read and edit the message before you send it.
Legal bases (EEA and UK): we process analytics data on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving the Game, and crash reports on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the Game working. Where the law requires your consent for analytics, we will ask for it; an in-game setting to turn off usage data and crash reporting is planned for the next update. We process feedback emails to answer you.
International transfers: Firebase data is processed by Google LLC in the United States and other countries. Transfers from the EEA, the UK and Switzerland rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (and its UK and Swiss extensions) and Google's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights: depending on where you live (including the EEA, the UK and California), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. Email us and we will reply within one month. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
California (CCPA/CPRA): we do not sell or share personal information and we do not use it for cross-context behavioural advertising. Categories collected: device and app identifiers, gameplay activity, approximate country, and crash diagnostics.
Deleting data: uninstalling the Game stops all collection, and analytics data is then deleted automatically at the end of the retention period in section 7. Because the Game has no accounts, we may not be able to find data from one specific installation; if you email us, include your device model and the approximate date you installed the Game and we will do our best to locate and delete it.
Teens: if you are under the age at which your country allows you to agree to online services by yourself, please ask a parent or guardian before playing.
Abyss Haven: Deep Colony — Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 7, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile game "Abyss Haven: Deep Colony" (the "Game"), published on Google Play by Mateo Luciano (studio2004) ("we", "us"), handles information when you play.
1. Summary
- The Game is a single-player game that can be played offline.
- You do not need an account. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, location or contacts.
- Your game progress is saved only on your device.
- We use Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand how the Game is used and to fix crashes.
- The current version of the Game does not show ads and does not sell anything. If a future version adds ads or in-app purchases, we will update this policy before that version is released.
2. Information collected automatically
Through Google Firebase (a service of Google LLC), the Game may collect:
- Gameplay events, for example: tutorial completed, room built, depth reached, session length.
- Basic device and app information, for example: device model, Android version, app version, language, approximate country (derived from the network, not GPS).
- A Firebase app-instance identifier (a random ID created for this installation). We have disabled the collection of the Android Advertising ID, and we do not use the data for personalized advertising.
- Crash reports and diagnostics (Firebase Crashlytics): the state of the app at the time of a crash, stack traces and device information.
This information is used only to:
- improve game balance and fix problems;
- find and fix crashes and bugs.
We do not sell this information and we do not share it with third parties other than Google as our service provider. Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
3. Information you choose to send us
If you use the "Report a bug / Feedback" button, your email app opens with a message to us. The message includes basic technical details (game version, device quality setting, progress counters) so that we can understand the problem. We use your email address and message only to reply to you and fix the issue, and we delete them when they are no longer needed.
4. Google Play In-App Review
The Game may show Google Play's rating dialog. This is handled entirely by Google Play; we do not receive your rating or review through the Game.
5. Data stored on your device
Your save game and settings are stored in the Game's private storage on your device. They may be included in your device's standard Android backup if you have backups enabled. Uninstalling the Game deletes this data from the device.
6. Children
The Game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Data retention and deletion
Analytics data is kept by Firebase for a limited period (no longer than 14 months) and then deleted automatically. Crash reports are kept for up to 90 days. You can ask us to delete any data related to your installation by emailing us at the address below.
8. Security
Data sent to Firebase is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top will change, and significant changes will be announced in the Game's update notes.
