Association of Bangladeshi Women in Mathematics (ABWM), the very first professional society of Bangladeshi women mathematicians, starts its journey with the mission to elevate women’s foothold in mathematical studies and research. Although the rudimentary view is to encourage women to study and have active careers in the mathematical sciences the ultimate vision is to promote equal opportunity for the women to make influential endeavors in the world of mathematical sciences. AWBM is firmly committed to fostering an inclusive environment and genial network that enables women to engage themselves into pure and applied research works and contribute towards the advancement of mathematics education and research in Bangladesh.
