Our focus is to promote emerging writers, continue supporting established writers, all with an emphasis on cultural perspectives.

We love publishing work by individuals from underrepresented groups in writing and artistic spheres (BIPOC, women, LGBT+, Latine).

Submit to Abundance of Knowledge (ongoing)

Abundance of Knowledge is a space to recognize and appreciate academic writing. We seek essays, literary reviews, book reviews, research papers, and other writing along those lines that deserve a spot on our fridge door. All ages welcome to submit.

This is not for creative fiction writing.

Interested in volunteering with Abundance?

We are seeking people who enjoy reading nonfiction, fiction, poetry, and have an eye for visual art and social media posts. You can volunteer for two weeks, one month, a semester, etc. We can figure out a schedule that works best.

How do I submit my work?

We have a submission form for each volume, as well as a submission form for our Fridge Door. Submit your work through the forms. Email or DM submissions are not read.

How long does it take for my work to be read?

We officially start reading work during the last week of submission period, and decision emails go out a few weeks after submission period closes.

What if my mutual submission is accepted somewhere else before Abundance reviews it?

You can email us at abundanceliterary@gmail.com to let us know. Include the word "withdrawing" or a variation of it in the subject line for it to be read sooner.

How often does Abundance publish?

Abundance publishes two volumes per year: One in July and another one in December. We also have the always-open, always-on-review, publishing-as-we-see-fit Fridge Door on our website.

I'm interested in gaining experience as a volunteer with Abundance. How do I do it?
