Welcome to my personal website.

I am a Mexican mathematician, my research lies within the field of categorical algebra and lower dimensional category theory. Much of my work is about having better tools for to describe certain notions of non-commutative algebra. I am interested in many areas of mathematics such as: Category Theory, Ring Theory, Module Theory, Representation Theory, Lattice Theory, Set Theory, Logic, Algebraic Geometry, Algebraic Topology, and a little bit of Quantum Physics.

Right now, I am searching for a junior researcher or postdoc position.

I was awarded a PhD at Macquarie University working under the supervision of Steve Lack and Ross Street. I have been part of the Centre of Australian Category Theory (CoACT) since I started the PhD.

I completed my Master and Undergraduate degrees at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, under the supervision of José Ríos Montes. Between 2010 and 2013, I was part of the organising committee of an annual conference cycle called Aquelarre Matemático at the Faculty of Science, UNAM.

My name follows the Hispanic-american naming conventions, as written above this means [name] [paternal surname] [maternal surname].
