The Layered Formation of the Universe:  How GR/SR, QM are Layered Truth

In the Absolute Medium (AM) Model, the universe is an eternal, ultra-dense, and continuous elastic substrate. Reality is structured into three distinct "Layers" of manifestation, each governed by specific mechanical laws of the energetic net.

Layer 1: The Absolute Baseline (The Eternal Canvas) 

Layer 1 is the Absolute Medium itself. It is the uncaused, infinite substrate with a staggering baseline density of rho_0 approx 1.28 X 10^{14} kg/m³. 

Layer 2: The Topological Defect (The Birth of Matter) 

Matter is the Phase Transition of the medium. Layer 2 represents the structural "knots" tied into the energetic net. 

Layer 3: The Vibrational Ripple (Energy and Interaction) 

Layer 3 is the Vibrational Regime. It consists of the ripples, waves, and perturbations that travel through the medium without fundamentally altering its structure. 

The "Two Realms" Perspective 

The AM Model introduces a critical distinction between how the universe is and how it appears. 

The Medium-Centric View (The Hardware): Layer 1: The ultra-dense elastic solid. Layer 2: Topological knots and twists. Layer 3: Transient ripples and wakes. 

The Matter-Centric View (The User Interface): Layer 1: Vacuum: Empty space or a void. Layer 2: Particles: Discrete objects with mass. Layer 3:  Fields/Forces: Abstract mathematical vectors.

We live in the "Matter-centric" realm, perceiving only the distortions (Layers 2 and 3) while the vast, dense reality of Layer 1 remains the "Invisible Mountain" beneath our feet.

Why Both Views Are Necessary 

Think of a computer again: 

• The hardware view sees electrons flowing through silicon, voltages changing, magnetic fields forming. This is deterministic and continuous. 

• The user interface view sees pixels, icons, and files. This is discrete and sometimes seems probabilistic (you don’t know exactly where the next pixel will appear). Both views are true. The user interface is not an illusion—it’s how the hardware appears to a user. But to understand why the interface behaves as it does, you need to understand the hardware. In the same way: 

• The medium-centric view is the hardware—continuous, deterministic, mechanical. 

• The matter-centric view is the user interface—discrete, probabilistic, and seeming to have strange rules. 

Physics has been trying to understand the universe by looking only at the user interface. The AM model invites us to look at the hardware.

How Relativity and Quantum Mechanics Fit Together 

Now we can see why both relativity and quantum mechanics are correct— they just describe different layers.

Relativity: The Layer 1 and Layer 2 View 

Einstein’s theories describe the large-scale structure of reality: 

• Special relativity emerges from Layer 1 properties. The speed of light c is not a mystery—it is the mechanical wave speed in the medium, determined by its density and stiffness. Time dilation and length contraction arise because moving objects interact with the medium in specific ways. 

• General relativity describes how density gradients (mass) affect the medium. What Einstein called ”curvature of spacetime” is actually the density gradient in the medium. Matter tells the medium how to compress; compressed medium tells matter how to move. This is gravity. Relativity is correct because it accurately describes how the medium behaves on large scales and at high speeds. It sees the forest.

Quantum Mechanics: The Layer 3 View 

Quantum mechanics describes the small-scale, wavy interactions in the medium: 

• The wavefunction is not a mathematical abstraction—it is a real physical wave in the medium. When we calculate probabilities, we are calculating where the medium’s vibrations will guide particles. 

• Wave-particle duality is actually ”core-wake duality.” The particle (core) is Layer 2; its wave (wake) is Layer 3. Both are real. 

• The double-slit experiment is explained mechanically: an electron’s wake goes through both slits, interferes, and guides the electron’s core to where it lands. 

• Quantum entanglement is not spooky action—it’s the medium maintaining coherence across distances, like waves in a pond that remain connected. 

• Uncertainty arises because measuring a particle means disturbing the medium with more waves, which changes what you’re trying to measure. 

Quantum mechanics is correct because it accurately describes how the medium behaves on small scales and at low energies. It sees the trees.

Conclusion: The Self-Healing Universe 

The layered formation is not a one-way street. The universe exists in a state of Elastic Hysteresis.
