Privacy Policy — Abroad Unbox

Abroad Unbox ("we", "us") operates the Abroad Unbox mobile app. This page explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how to delete it.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

- Personal details you provide: name, email, phone number, date of birth, country, intended major.

- Documents you upload (transcripts, essays, payment screenshots) for our application and payment features.

- Approximate or precise location, only when you use the "Navigate to office" feature.

- A device messaging token (Firebase) to send you notifications.

- Usage data needed for features like SAT practice progress and chat.

HOW WE USE IT

To create and manage your account; provide application tracking, SAT prep, essays, university selection and mentorship; process and verify payments; send notifications; and provide support. We do not sell your personal information.

SHARING

We share data only with service providers that help run the app, such as Google Firebase. We may disclose information if required by law.

DATA SECURITY

Data is sent over secure HTTPS connections. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.

ACCOUNT & DATA DELETION

To delete your account and all associated personal data, email abroadunbox@gmail.com from your registered email with the subject "Delete my account", including your name and registered email/phone. We will delete your account within 30 days. Some records may be kept where required by law.

CHILDREN

The app is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

CHANGES

We may update this policy and will post changes here with a new date.
