Meet Elaine Sadkowski, LCSW, RPT-S

Elaine Sadkowski is a seasoned therapist in the field of professional social work. Her experience in training university students and professionals in Miami-Dade and Brevard Counties was subsequent to more than 35 years of combined practice in NJ, CA, and FL. Elaine has demonstrated a firm belief in the potential for human growth in mind, emotions, and spirit. She has particular clinical skill in relationship counseling and play therapy with children, couples, families, and adults. With children, she incorporates her years of training in sand tray therapy, expressive art and experiential play therapy to assist in reducing a myriad of clinical concerns for her clients. Studying images from the past and being mindful of the present, she helps guide her clients to greater insight into behaviors that are often the result of trauma or losses, where by, new ground work is laid for more positive re-experiences within a warm, supportive environment.

Elaine is a Qualified Supervisor for the State of Florida, and a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor, offering dual licensing supervision for certification in Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Social Work, and Play Therapy certification. Elaine is also trained in Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Parent Coordination, Gottman and Emotional Freedom Couple's Therapy, and many of the traditional treatment modalities, such as, but not limited to, cognitive-behavioral therapy, internal systems therapy, and solution-focused therapy.
