Mission
Our lab develops novel multiscale mathematical and computational methods to describe physiological and biological processes spanning multiple spatial and temporal scales, from within-host molecular and cellular dynamics to population-level transmission. We design and lead research programs that integrate mathematical modeling, scientific computing, and data-driven methods to build predictive, mechanistic frameworks capable of linking processes across scales and informing real-world biomedical and public health decisions.
