The Cyber Attack has had a significant economic impact on the government and potentially on all individuals, as personal information stored in remote databases could be compromised. The risk assessment aims to identify threats and vulnerabilities in the Bole sub-city Administration's data protection mechanism and to suggest risk mitigation techniques. It was found that the organization's system security implementation is inadequate, highlighted by the absence of a written policy and lack of disaster recovery measures. To safeguard their assets from intruders, it is recommended that the government organization establishes a comprehensive security policy, implements a disaster recovery and fault tolerance system, and forms a dedicated security team.

The first two images depict the assets and associated threats, following the initial steps of the CORAS approach. The last two images demonstrate the potential risks posed by these threats and the treatments. As a student responsible for finding a solution, we have proposed treatments as in the last image.
This project was a collaborative effort between the Computer Engineering Department and the Addis Ababa Bole Sub-city Administration. The team consisted of three researchers who contributed equally throughout the project, including conducting interviews, exploring data sets, and writing documentation. During the presentation of our work, each of us focused on our respective areas of focus. I specifically dedicated my efforts to the treatment section, where I focused on finding solutions to the vulnerabilities we identified.
Sample Projects Under My Online Courses
Throughout my learning journey, I have actively engaged in various online courses across multiple platforms like YouTube, Coursera, Udemy, Alison, and more. These platforms have provided me with a wealth of knowledge on diverse technologies. While certificates were/are/will not be my primary focus, I am driven by the desire to deepen my understanding of these technologies. Consequently, I often opt for free courses, as they allow me to study without any financial burden. One of my favorite platforms is Coursera, as it offers the opportunity to apply for financial aid, enabling me to access their courses without any cost. This approach has allowed me to expand my knowledge and skills in a cost-effective manner.
Here are sample lists of course projects that I have completed, which were primarily sourced from Coursera. You can find the corresponding GitHub repository links below:
