A mind map is a free-flowing, radial diagram for brainstorming that starts with a central idea and uses branches to connect related thoughts, making it ideal for creative note-taking and organizing personal ideas. In contrast, a concept map is a more structured, hierarchical diagram that uses labeled lines and arrows to show specific relationships between multiple concepts, making it a better tool for explaining complex systems and mapping out logical connections between ideas. While mind maps are for generating ideas, concept maps are for organizing existing knowledge.
Under the Prompt engineering assignment, I developed a quiz-based "Punctuality Game" with code generated by Gemini. The game is based on the operant conditioning behavioral theory of B.F. Skinner. This project gave me the chance to explore GenAI-based coding and how it can be helpful when the prompts are well-structured and the ideas are clear.
For my Communication Skills and ET Tools lab, I created an explainer video on a chapter (The APS Season) from the ET@10 book, prioritizing engagement through short, AI-generated video clips. I edited the final video in Shotcut, adding music and captions to enhance viewer experience. This project integrated communication principles with AI tools, culminating in a polished, informative, and visually captivating educational video.
