I am currently working as an On-Device AI Researcher at Samsung Research, Bangalore, India, where I focus on developing machine learning solutions optimized for edge and mobile devices. My work involves designing efficient AI models that can operate under strict latency, memory, and power constraints while maintaining high accuracy in real-world deployments.

Prior to this, I worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the POSTECH Institute of Artificial Intelligence (POSTECH), South Korea, from May 2023 to November 2023, where I contributed to research in the Biomedical Engineering domain, applying computer vision and machine learning techniques to medical and health-related problems.

I completed my Ph.D. at the Machine Learning and Vision Lab, Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST), South Korea, under the guidance of Prof. Moongu Jeon. My doctoral research addressed several challenges in large-scale face recognition systems, including noisy labels in datasets, representation learning using contrastive learning, and privacy-preserving learning using federated learning. As part of this work, I also developed and implemented the SmartFace device, a real-time face recognition system designed for resource-constrained environments.

Before pursuing my Ph.D., I obtained a Master of Engineering degree from Chonnam National University, Gwangju, South Korea, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Shivaji University, Kolhapur, India.

My primary research interests lie in computer vision and machine learning, particularly in areas such as face recognition, multi-object tracking, contrastive learning, federated learning, and on-device AI systems. A significant part of my work focuses on robust learning from noisy data and designing efficient machine learning algorithms for deployment on resource-limited devices.
