I have successfully completed my Ph.D. studies at the Machine Learning and Vision Lab, GIST, under the guidance of Prof. Moongu Jeon. My thesis addressed challenges in face recognition datasets, designing robust face recognition algorithms for resource-limited devices, contrastive learning, federated learning, and the real-time implementation of the SmartFace device. Prior to my Ph.D., I earned a Master of Engineering degree from Chonnam National University in Gwangju, South Korea, and a B.Sc. degree from Shivaji University in Kolhapur, India.
My primary research focuses on tackling various issues within the computer vision domain. I have extensive experience in multi-object tracking, face recognition, contrastive learning, federated learning, and the Internet of Things, all within the broad scope of computer vision. Specifically, my work has centered on mitigating noisy labels in large-scale face recognition datasets and implementing on-device machine learning algorithms tailored for resource-constrained devices.
I am was employed as a postdoctoral researcher at the POSTECH Institute of Artificial Intelligence, where I continue to contribute to cutting-edge research in the BioMedical Engineering field (May 2023~ Nov 2023).
I am presently employed as a On Device AI researcher with Samsung Research, Bangalore, India
