• The convention must be over at least 2 consecutive days. There are too many single day game sessions to include them all on this list

• The convention must have a board game library

• Board games must be a significant focus of the convention

• Attending the convention for the sole purpose of playing board games and not engaging with any other component of the convention must be normalised

• Ideally, the two flag system will be in use. These are signs provided by the convention for gamers to place on their table to indicate either that they are looking for more players (often green) or looking for a teacher (often red)

• The convention must not have private ticket sales to a priority group. Tickets must be made available to the general public as the first ticket sales period. Tickets may still be set aside for sponsors, exhibitors, volunteers, designers, media, convention organisers, and their families. This rule is to ensure only friendly and open conventions are listed here; private or semi-private conventions are not always welcoming to newcomers

• We love our TTRPG, TCG, and miniatures friends, however, conventions with a TTRPG, TCG, or miniatures focus are excluded from this list unless they meet all other requirements

It would be great to have that convention on the list! Please fill out this form and it will be added asap!
