Socrative

Socrative is a free web tool whose main function is to create and conduct quizzes. The functionalities includes:

• asking multiple and correct / incorrect questions

• asking open-ended questions that can be answered

• creating quizzes that are automatically graded with feedback

• sharing quizzes with other teachers

• conducting quizzes as a game "Space Race"

• quiz results reports (computer storage, e-mail and Google Drive; in the form of an excel document, a report for each student in PDF format or a report for each question in PDF format)

• Real-time review of student responses.

No registration is required. Students are sent a code for a virtual room that they can access via an Internet browser or mobile application (iOS, Android). The teacher can register with their existing Google account. For a free account it is possible to start a virtual quiz room for up to 50 students.
