Kahoot! is an interactive digital tool designed for creating quizzes, discussions and questionnaires. The tool uses the elements of real-time game learning. Introduction videos and tutorials are found on Kahoot’s Youtube channel.
Kahoot! can be used in all browsers that support HTML5 and have JavaScript enabled, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox browsers are recommended. If you want to use Internet Explorer, versions nine are recommended according to the latest.
The tool can be accessed via mobile devices that support HTML5 and via mobile devices: iOS, Android and Windows Phone.
Teachers who want to use Kahoot! tools in their teaching must register and select the role of “I’m a teacher”. Below, they will enter the educational institution where they work, their username, e-mail address and password. Kahoot! cannot be used by people under 16 years old.
Students do not need to create user accounts to participate in quizzes, questionnaires, and discussions. It is necessary to enter the address www.kahoot.it in the browser of the selected device and enter the personal identification number (PIN) that will be received from the teacher.
