About Me
I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Indian Institute of Information Technology, Dharwad, India.
Previously, I held appointments as:
Post Doctoral Researcher in the School of Computer Science at University of Galway, Ireland.
Research Engineer at the Institut de Recherche en Informatique, Mathématiques, Automatique et Signal (IRIMAS), University of Upper Alsace, Mulhouse, France.
Postdoctoral Fellow at the INFormatique et RESeaux (INFRES), Telecom Paris, Institute Polytechnique de Paris, France, within the ACES Research Group, in collaboration with DETSI.
Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Engineering at National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra, India.
Before this, I completed my PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad, India.
My research broadly falls under the heading of machine learning, but explores multiple topics like: neural networks, reinforcement learning, anomaly detection, data stream analysis, multi-agent systems, and evolutionary computing. I am also interested in applications of machine learning methods to problems like: telecom fraud, banking fraud, smart grid, agriculture, and sustainability.
