I am Abdul Sattar. I hold PhD degree in Economic Sciences. I serve as an assistant Professor in the Department of Management Sciences at Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering, and Management Sciences (BUITEMS) in Quetta, Pakistan. Currently, I served as the Director of the China Study Center at BUITEMS for three years (https://www.buitms.edu.pk/Profile/FMS). My academic journey, spanning teaching and research, began in 2010.
I completed my PhD at the University of Lille's RIME Lab in France. I earned my Master's degree from the same university with specialization in European Affairs Management. My PhD research focused on corporate tax avoidance strategies of multinational companies and the corporate tax losses incurred by the European Union members due to tax avoidance tactics.

My research interests cover various areas, including corporate tax avoidance, tax havens, foreign direct investment, international trade and finance, and the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
