Our group’s research focuses on sustainable technologies for chemical conversion. We aim to develop novel pathways for scalable and renewable generation of fuels and value-added chemicals. Specifically, we focus on (photo)electrochemistry methods, with activities spanning from (photo)electrode materials development, fundamental understanding of bulk and interfacial processes in (photo)electrodes, and novel (photo)electrochemical device concepts. While mainly an experimental research group, we also conduct multiphysics and life cycle / technoeconomic modeling to support our applied research.
