Setup/Equipment:
App or device with pedometer to track steps
Objective: Students will be able to assess the number of steps they get in a certain time or distance
Activity:
Go on a walk/jog around your neighborhood or a trail with your pedometer
This walk should be done with a parent or small group (even bring your dog!)
The distance traveled is up to you but the walk/jog should be at least 15 minutes long
If possible, take a picture on your walk and your pedometer results and post on twitter tagging @AbbottPhysEd or e-mail to Mr. Williams!
Modifications:
Could complete this activity inside if needed or outside in the yard
