Introduction,

Sorcery is not simply a profession to be learned, it is a power that demands a vessel. The sorcerer does not truly command it, but instead, the sorcerer serves the power, paying for every gift through sacrifice, corruption, knowledge, or consequence.

To preserve rarity and reflect the server’s peak population, only two characters of each Sorcery Class may exist at any given time. When one of these sorcerers dies permanently, the power they carried is considered released. In time, it may seek a new vessel, allowing another character to inherit that place through appropriate roleplay.

Sorcery must always remain grounded in Conan lore. A character chosen for a class must make sense culturally, racially, spiritually, and through their established beliefs and story. Not every form of sorcery belongs to every culture, and gaining a class should never require a character to abandon established lore simply to obtain its abilities.

Sorcery is therefore more than a collection of skills. It is a story path, one that grants extraordinary possibilities, but inevitably asks something from those willing to follow it.
