Interest Groups

This group is part of America's largest discussion program on world affairs. This group meets regularly to inform, engage and inspire.

The Evening Literature group meets every other month in the evening at 7:00 PM on a specified date to review a new book. The books are agreed upon in advance, and are listed in our monthly newsletter. 

The Daytime Book Discussion group meets the 1st Friday of each month at 1:00pm at various locations to discuss the previous month's book selection, which are listed in our monthly newsletter. 

Members of this group meet up to attend plays at the Fisher Theater. 

For the past 38 years, avid Bridge players in our Branch have regularly met, not only to play Bridge, but also for the great camaraderie. We have seen many changes over the years, but the core group is still active and welcoming new members.

The Tuesday Afternoon Bridge Group consists of two tables, meeting in various member’s homes at 12:30pm on the first and third Tuesday of each month, September through late May.

The Wednesday Afternoon Bridge Group consists of three tables, meeting at 12:30pm  on alternate Wednesdays at Westfield Center in Trenton, September through late May.

This group attends local professional performances at the Open Book Theatre in Trenton, Michigan.

This group meets and attends Detroit Symphony events together.

This group seeks a variety of adventures, including dinners, museums, movies, day trips and other activities. 

This group plans and enjoys travel adventures. Usually a few trips per year are planned.
