I am a Business Designer working at a design thinking company in Sri Lanka. I have worked on multiple projects focused on creating impactful digital solutions for farmers in low and middle-income countries. I have been responsible for conducting field research to get an in-depth understanding of the norms and issues of farmers and ideate on ways to solve their unique needs.
My background as a Business Designer taught me to conduct human-centred research to empathize with the people directly impacted by unfavourable social conditions. I have learned that through the careful and empathetic study of individuals, innovative solutions can make impactful changes to many lives.
