Meeting III

The third meeting of the seminar is scheduled to take place Tuesday 4th of October, 2022. It will be at the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Chalmers/University of Gothenburg. All talks will be in MVH12. There will also be a dinner afterwards on Tuesday evening, at Tullen Johanneberg. We plan to eat around 18:30, but some of us will probably go directly there after the end of the talks.

If you plan to attend, please register here.

Speakers:

  • Eleonora Di Nezza (École Polytechnique): Geodesic distance

  • Henri Guenancia (Toulouse): Degenerating conic Kähler-Einstein metrics

  • Michael Hallam (Aarhus): Weighted extremal metrics on blowups

  • Ruadhaí Dervan (Glasgow): Stability and Kähler-Einstein metrics in big classes

A PDF file with the abstracts is available here.

Travel:

The suggested travel between Aarhus and Gothenburg is to use the ferry between Gothenburg and Frederikshavn and train between Frederikshavn and Aarhus. The most convenient ferry times seem to be:

  • Ferry Frederikshavn to Gothenburg: Monday 3rd, 13:50-17:20

  • Ferry Gothenburg to Frederikshavn: Wednesday 5th, either 09:10-12:40 or 15:45-19:00

The ferries are operated by Stena Line . It takes about 30 minutes to the ferry terminal from the math department with public transport. The ferry terminal for the ferry going to Frederikshavn is located here. It is also possible to leave for Frederikshavn on Tuesday the 4th at 18:20, but note that we are planning to have the conference dinner on the 4th.
