"Valentine" is a song co-written and performed by American recording artist Jim Brickman, with a guest vocal from Martina McBride. It first appeared on his 1997 album Picture This,[1] and later on McBride's album Evolution.

The song charted on the Billboard Hot 100 and Adult Contemporary charts in 1997, peaking at number 50 on the former and number 3 on the latter.[2] Although it first appeared on the Hot Country Songs charts at that time, it was not officially released as a single to the country format until a year later.[3] The song was the follow-up to her single "A Broken Wing," to which "Valentine" originally served as the b-side.[3] Upon its official release, "Valentine" peaked at number 9.

I know this is the title but I cannot for the life of me find it and I don't know how to narrow the search. Over the years I always have a hard time remembering or finding the song again each time I've lost my music and had to rebuild and have thought of the song and wanted to hear it again - it was kind of the same mood (well, to me, at least) as The Verve Pipe - "The Freshman" and Bush - "Glycerine"...It went "this is my" PAUSE/beat-beat "Valentine" beat....and then...shit I don't remember the rest...it may have been a one hit wonder or else I never knew another song by the group...I can't remember if the group was a one word or two word name...I feel like there was an S in there but I could be wrong...anyone know this song?

EDIT 2: Guys this is killing me - lol I just looked through 100s of songs titled "Valentine" on the THE AMERICAN SOCIETY OF COMPOSERS, AUTHORS AND PUBLISHERS index online...I feel so sure that's the title but somehow it must not be because i couldn't find it!

EDIT 3: AAAAAAAAAAAAAGH YOU GUYS I JUST FOUND IT I FOUND IT I FOUND IT!!!! Thanks for all your tries and help finally leading me to unpack some shit and search through old CDS until I found a mixed CD a few different artist names scribbled in sharpie on top... and I recognized it immediately (crossed fingers since it's not that I was familiar with the group or any other songs)...and I googled it with "Valentine"...and sure enough....

Wow shit song, anyways here's a recipe for Cloud Bread, Ingredients 3 egg whites 30 g sugar 10 g corn starch. Preheat oven to 350F In a mixing bowl add 10 grams of corn starch and 30 grams of sugar. Separate the egg whites. Using a hand mixer beat the egg whites until frothy. You can also use a hand whisk for this step. Slowly incorporate sugar, followed by the corn starch. It should start getting frothy and bubbly. Beat until it forms stiff peaks. To make it blue add one drop of blue food coloring. I used McCormick's Neon Blue. Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Mound the meringue onto the parchment paper and lightly flatten the top. Bake for 25 minutes. ?

I make a point to try and add in a Spanish song to about every program that I can. So many families in my school are from Mexico and many of the parents/grandparents that come to our programs only speak Spanish. I want the audience to find something familiar and exciting. Adding the Spanish language song stretches the kids, delights parents, and adds a lot to the experience!

The book "The Lyrics: 1956 to the Present", published in 2021, covers Paul McCartney's early Liverpool days, the Beatles, Wings, and solo careers, by pairing the lyrics of 154 of his songs with first-person commentaries of the circumstances in which they were written, the people and places that inspired them, and what he thinks of them now.

Love may be over, but the BIGBANG member mournfully reflects on the beauty of an ex in this tender R&B ballad. His emotions overflow on this romantic track, surpassing its melancholic nature to become one of the most beautiful Korean love songs ever.

Listen, loving someone for a thousand years is a long time. But a thousand more? It might as well be eternity! This song is from the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn soundtrack and fits perfect for your Valentine's Day playlist!

In his over 20years as the frontman of Welsh metal titans Bullet For My Valentine, Matt Tuckhas used the inspiration of his thrash heroes to create energetic, technicalanthems while continuing to push himself as a songwriter, bringing new musicalcolours and shades into each era of the band.

Its a weirdsong, on paper it shouldnt work. Its far too long, the middle section makesno sense, the intro is all drawn out. Its a bit of a freak. But I just like tothink that it comes down to people connecting with the feeling and themelodies. The chorus is an undeniable thing and when you break songs downthats what people come back to.

Sh-Boom is an early doo-wop song from 1954 when the genre was first getting started, the most popular version of Sh-Boom was by the group The Chords. Now as a doo wop song it is played a little fast, but for the ukulele we can slow it down a little. The hardest part about the chords is switching them fast enough. The main hook of the song is F-Dm-Gm-C, practice this progression a few times before trying the song out. Once you can play that main riff you have most of the song down save for the bridge.

Written by Meredith Wilson for the musical play The Music Man (I prefer this version), this is another song that will require a bit of practice. Start out by playing the chords one at a time, as you get used to them you can start to add a little strumming. This is another great love song for the holiday, especially for those ukulele players who love to sing. These songs that seem a little complicated are perfect to advance your ukulele playing. They will help teach you harder chords and give you a good idea on how to structure a really great song.

"Tears Don't Fall" is a song by Bullet For My Valentine. It is the band's fourth single and the fourth track from their first full-length studio album, The Poison (2005). The single was released on June 17, 2006 in the US. The song is also the title track of Bullet's third EP, released in 2006.

In an interview with Kerrang! in 2023, Matt Tuck said about the song that he remembered playing it on the Kerrang! Tour and telling the crowd that it would be their next single. He said the song changed everything and that he is very proud of it."[1]

Three alternate versions of the song have been made; an acoustic version (featured on the Deluxe Edition of The Poison as well as other releases); a radio edit with a reduced duration of 4:37 while replacing the screams with clean vocals (mixed by Chris Lord-Alge, featured on numerous versions of the "Tears Don't Fall" single); and an album edit, a shorter version that does still contain screams.

The music video for "Tears Don't Fall" features the "album edit", a shorter version of the song that keeps the unclean vocals, as opposed to the radio edit. It was directed by Tony Petrossian. The video features the band playing the song in the rain, while a separate storyline plays out. The story shows a woman (played by Taylor Cole) and a man doing romantic things with each other. The next day, however, the man seems to be tired of her. After driving a while, the car loses fuel. While refueling the car, the woman tries to get close to the man, causing him to drop the jerrycan of fuel, the fuel spilling onto the ground. The man gets in the car and drives away, leaving the woman behind. The man stops at a hotel and meets a blonde woman. The previous woman manages to walk to the hotel. She enters man's hotel room, catching him and the blonde woman in the act. The woman begins to drench the new couple and herself with gasoline to commit murder-suicide. She then pulls out a lighter and drops it onto the bed, but it doesn't ignite. The woman smiles and blows a sarcastic kiss to the couple, indicating she didn't mean to kill them, just scare them. The camera then shifts outside to a hose dripping water indicating she had used the hose to fill the jerrycan with water.

Matt Tuck has said that "Its a weird song, on paper it shouldn't work". He expressed that he thinks the song is too long, the middle section makes no sense and that the intro is too drawn out. However, the melodies and the chorus are what connect people to the song and make them come back to it.[1]

"Tears Don't Fall" is arguably the most popular Bullet For My Valentine song and has been performed at almost every concert since its release. The song has been played over 800 times, the most out of any Bullet For My Valentine song. Its live debut was on October 18, 2005 at Coal Exchange, Cardiff, Wales.[2]

The acoustic version was released as the fourth and final bonus track on the US Deluxe Edition of The Poison. The song is also featured on certain versions of the "Tears Don't Fall" single as well as the Rare Cuts EP.

At last my love has come along

My lonely days are over and life is like a song, oh yeah

At last the skies above are blue

My heart was wrapped up clover the night I looked at you

I found a dream that I could speak to

A dream that I can call my own

I found a thrill to press my cheek to

A thrill I've never known, oh yeah

You smiled, you smiled oh and then the spell was cast

And here we are in Heaven

For you are mine at last
