Rachneet Kaur is a Research Scientist at the J.P. Morgan AI Research, where she works in the computer vision team. Her current research interests lie at the intersection of self supervised learning and time series forecasting and captioning using images.
Prior to joining J.P Morgan, she completed her PhD in the Industrial Engineering department at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign (UIUC), working with Richard Sowers and also collaborating with Roy Campbell from the Computer Science department. Broadly, her dissertation focussed at the intersection of AI and digital health to study the prediction and progression of multiple neurological conditions. Her PhD work received the William A. Chittenden II Graduate Fellowship for 3 consecutive years, and also several research awards from the Department of Mathematics, and Industrial Engineering at UIUC. She did her bachelors (with honors) from the University of Delhi and masters from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi in Mathematics, back in India. She has continuously served as the reviewer and program committee member for several top AI workshops, and conferences.
