Nazanin Mehrasa

Nazanin Mehrasa is a Machine Learning Research Team Lead at Borealis AI, Royal Bank of Canada, focusing on AI for financial services. She received her Ph.D. in computer science from Simon Fraser University in 2021. Her research primarily focuses on event analysis in time-series data, where she studies probabilistic generative models for time-series, and learning algorithms in the context of partially labeled data. She co-organized the bridge event on "AI for Financial Services" at AAAI 2024.
