This meeting will bring together senior and early career data science researchers from Aarhus University and Aalborg University. Both groups are internationally renowned for their strong research profile in data science, each having their own focus areas. The core of the workshop are scientific presentations and informal discussions with the aim of fostering new collaborations between both groups.
Christophe Biscio (Aalborg): Statistical learning for general point processes and applications to intensity and density estimation
Christian Hirsch (Aarhus): Goodness-of-fit tests for spatial tessellations based on the persistence diagram
Markus Kiderlen (Aarhus): The Radial Spanning Tree of a Poisson Point Process
Moritz Otto (Aarhus): Poisson process approximation of functionals of determinantal processes
Anne Marie Svane (Aalborg): A K-function for inhomogeneous random measures with geometric features
Rasmus Waagepetersen (Aalborg): Second-order semiparametric inference for multivariate log Gaussian Cox processes
