The conference is dedicated to the scientific life and memory of our colleague and friend Giosi Benfatto, who passed away in september 2024. It will focus on several of the research topics which Giosi actively worked on for many years, such as quantum field theory, statistical mechanics, bosonic and fermionic systems, fluid mechanics and dynamical systems. It will also include personal contributions on Giosi's life and career.

The conference will be in hybrid form: all participants are invited to attend in presence but, in order to make the event accessible also to colleagues who cannot travel to Rome on the conference day, it will be possible to follow it remotely via this link.
Note that at the end of the day there will be space for personal memories: participants who intend to make a short speech are invited to contact the organizers.
